Meeting with Founder of Dotshub

We are pleased to meet a Young Talent, Martin Ho Jin Cong, who had done with an revolutionary apps, Dotshub - Learn Vocab Efficiently. Inventory has the honour to have Martin Ho, to share the entire journey on developing. Let's Us Welcome him on the stage.

>Do you have founding story? Would you mind to share it out?

Sure.Just type in words that you want to learn. Everything in one app, save your time. Build in dictionary.

>What inspired you to initiate this idea?

Learning vocabulary is always a pain for students but important. So, I see a chance by using app to solve this.

By integrating dictionary in the app, student just type in the words. Then, we can get flashcards (with meanings and examples) and exercises too. So, it saves time from lookup dictionary and exercises help to track our learning progress.

>May you talk about founding timeline?

I had the idea around March-April last year. I build my first prototype. I get some feedbacks from friends and myself too(I immediately use it in my learning to test how useful it is).

Then, I use another month to refine it. And test again. Then, around June, I had my final version(third) with user registration and allows user to save word lists.

>Do your programming background helps you much?

Yes, certainly. I cannot do anything without programming background.

>How do you expect for you future development? Are you doing it solely ?

My last update was publishing apps on both iOS and android app store(around January and June). So, my next step will be focusing on building collaboration feature(sharing word list among users) and refine exercise system that can show progress(user can understand their improvement better).
